Updating your bank details for Payments and Refunds
In light of the planned exit of Ulster Bank and KBC Bank from the Irish banking market, you may have recently changed to a new banking provider. You will need to update your bank account details for your tax payment or a tax refund.
Please login to ROS and on the My Services page, click on Manage Bank Accounts and follow the steps provided to update your bank account details for both payments and refunds.
When updating your bank account details, please note that you need to update your bank details separately for both tax payments and tax refunds, and where you use different bank accounts for your tax registrations.
To avoid any missed payment, it is advisable to update your bank details at least 7 days in advance of when your next payment is due, to allow sufficient time for our system to update with your new bank details.
It is important to stay safe and secure when using our online services and remember to keep sign in details secure and to not disclose them to anyone. Revenue will never send emails or text messages requesting customers to update bank account details via an email, text, or a pop-up window.
Further details on how to update bank account details can be found here
